Our lovely little hotel is situated between Griebnitz Lake and Stölpchen Lake, just about 2 kilometres away from the famous Wannsee. Its idyllic location is perfect for people who seek tranquility and peace but also for busy city explorers.

The Forsthaus Wannsee is the ideal starting point for the exploration of Germany’s capital Berlin as well as Potsdam and the scenic surroundings of both cities. Traveling by car and train are not the only options – we highly recommend taking a tour on the many bike paths or on the rivers and lakes.
Golf enthusiasts will love the 27-hole golf course of the nearby traditional Golf- und Land-Club Berlin-Wannsee e.V. for its pristine offerings and beautiful environment.
A rich breakfast from our lavish breakfast buffet will give you the perfect energy boost for your explorations by bicycle, by foot, by car or by the many public transport methods. The latter ones we highly recommend if you plan to visit Berlin. You can reach to exciting metropole and its many landmarks and events in just 20 minutes from Wannsee station. If you take the opposite direction you’ll quickly reach Potsdam – the regional capital of the federal state Brandenburg. Its many historic palaces and parks invite you for fascinating discoveries.

Our cosy cafe with the summer terrace invites all strollers, hikers and bikers – regardless if they are sleeping at our hotel or not – to enjoy our yummy cakes, ice cream cups and coffee specialities.
